Monty Marsh runs this site. This page explains what the site collects and how Monty uses it.
What the site collects
- When you send a message: the contact form collects your name, email, organization if supplied, chosen reason, and message. Netlify securely processes and stores the submission so Monty can reply. Please do not include sensitive personal information.
- When you visit: this site does not run analytics.
- Your Motion setting: the site remembers whether you want motion. That choice stays in your own browser and never reaches Monty.
- Server logs: the company that hosts the site keeps standard logs, such as IP addresses and browser types, to keep the site running and secure.
How Monty uses it
Monty uses your details only to reply to your message. He doesn't sell or rent your information. He doesn't add you to a mailing list or use your details for advertising.
Who else handles it
- Service providers. Netlify hosts this site, maintains standard operational logs, and processes and stores contact-form submissions on Monty’s behalf, including spam filtering. If you choose the direct email link instead, your email provider processes your message. Monty keeps inquiries only as long as needed to respond and handle the conversation, unless a longer period is required by law.
- Video and audio players. Films, videos and shows play from Vimeo, YouTube and Mixcloud. Nothing loads from them until you open one. Once you do, that service may set cookies or collect data under its own privacy policy. Vimeo's player is set not to collect session data or analytics, and YouTube plays in its privacy-enhanced mode.
- The law. Monty may share information when the law requires it.
Tracking across sites and Do Not Track
The site doesn't track you across other websites, and it doesn't let advertising networks do so. The video and audio players named above follow their own policies once you open them. The site treats every visitor the same way, whether or not a browser sends a Do Not Track signal.
Your choices
To see, correct or delete the information you sent, email hello@thecultureunit.com. Monty will reply and make the change.
Children
This site is not meant for children under 13, and Monty doesn't knowingly collect their information. If a child has sent a message, email hello@thecultureunit.com and Monty will delete it.
